Veronica Cobos (Torrance, Calif.) who had been placed on second but the Wildcats answered with a run in the bottom half of the inning.
The Bears threatened again in the 11th with the bases loaded and no outs but Apolskis grounded into a double play and
Jamie Cook (Elkland, P.A.) flew out to right to end the threat. The Wildcats capitalized in the bottom of the frame with a walk-off single thru the left side for the win.
In Game one, the Wildcats jumped all over starter,
Kirsten Wilson (Beaver Falls, P.A.) with five runs in the 1st inning and the Bears found it hard to recover. Wilmington tacked on a run in the third for a 6-0 advantage before Bloomfield found an answer in the fourth inning.
The Bears cut into their deficit with a four run fourth after
Melissa Yepez (Paramount, Calif.) singled to center with two outs.
