EAT STROUDSBURG, P.A. - The Bloomfield College softball team traveled to Zimbar Field and battled the Warriors of East Stroudsburg University to a split in a non-conference double header match up Wednesday afternoon. Senior
Lauren Bueno (Hacienda Heights, Calif.) belted a three-run homer to leftfield that helped the Bears to a 9-3 victory in game one. Juniors
Kirsten Wilson (Beaver Falls, P.A.) and
Stephanie Miller (Temecula, Calif.) split three innings each in the circle during Bloomfield's 4-3 setback in game two.
The Bears now sit at 15-18 overall for the season while the Warriors moved to 15-15 in 2016.

Bloomfield's next matchup will be Saturday, Apr 16 when they host the Tigers of Holy Family for Senior Day. The Bears will honor the softball program's five seniors in between the double header at Clarks Pond South as the first pitch for game one has been moved to 3:00 pm.
