BC BEARS INVITE YOU TO TAKE A KID TO THE GAME

BLOOMFIELD, N.J. – Bloomfield College invites all area children to attend their upcoming basketball game, Feb. 11 against Goldey-Beacom College. Children have the opportunity to experience a college basketball game as the BC hosts their annual "Take A Kid to the Game" (TAKG) program. Children, ages 12 and younger, will receive a free admission with the purchase of a full-priced adult ticket, to watch the Bears take on the Tigers. The women tip off at 1 p.m. followed by the men at approximately 3 p.m. Bloomfield is one of more than 200 schools across the nation that are hosting a game in this campaign focused on allowing youth the opportunity to attend collegiate athletic events.

"We encourage you to be in attendance. Bloomfield College is excited about this event where kids from the community will have a chance to be a part of our game day experience and support our Take A Kid to the Game program," Sheila Wooten athletic director for the Bears said. "This game day experience is an opportunity for children to spend quality time with a parent or role model and learn about sportsmanship that can be demonstrated on the playing field."

Tickets for this special day can be purchased at the gym entrance just before each game begins. One paid adult admission covers up to 10 FREE children's tickets. Children will receive a free GO BEARS banner, courtesy of the Admissions Department while supplies last. For more information, contact Gladstone Harris at gladstone_harris@bloomfield.edu
