SPARKILL, NY - The Bears women's volleyball team fell in four sets on the road Tuesday evening to Saint Thomas Aquinas College (STAC). Bloomfield pulled out the first set, 25-23 but the Spartans battled back to claim set 2, 25-8, the third, 25-18 and the fourth, 25-15 and secured the non-conference victory.
Kyomaris Morales led the visitors with 8 kills while freshman,
Rayssa Satlher chipped in 7 kills. Senior,
Amanda Arroyo paced the offense with 19 assists and dove for 12 digs. Classmate,
Sophia Wintonick led the squad with 14 digs and Morales rounded out her night with 10 digs.
Bloomfield will return to action on Wednesday, September 18th when they open up Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC)play against Dominican University. The road game against the Chargers is set for a 7:00pm first serve.
