BLOOMFIELD, N.J. (September 6, 2012) - The Bloomfield College Volleyball team fell to 1-1 overall and 0-1 in CACC play Thursday night, as they dropped a 3-1 (23-25, 22-25, 25-23, 19-25) home decision to CACC North Division rival Dominican College.

Senior Da'Cheray Thomas (Newark, N.J./Science Park) posted a game-high 12 kills in the loss, to go with six digs and one block on the night.  Junior Dominic Spivey (Newark, N.J./Science Park) was the second Lady Deacons to post double-digit kills in the setback, tallying 11 kills with five digs and a game-high three blocks.  Senior Allison Hart (Pagosa Springs, Co./Pagosa Springs) totaled a game-high 13 digs on the night, while Karol Oliveros (Newark, N.J./Science Park) notched seven kills, 10 digs and 15 assists in the loss.

Bloomfield returns to the court Tuesday, September 11 when they travel to take on CACC North Division foe Nyack College in the club's second conference contest of the young season.  Start time for the match is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
