Box Score PHILADELPHIA, PA - Bloomfield College Men's Basketball suffered a setback against Philly U this afternoon, 72-57, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action. The loss was the Deacons 2nd in conference play (9-2) and dropped them to 11-7 overall. For the Rams the win moved them to 8-2 in the CACC and 14-5 overall.
The Deacons trailed the entire contest and were unable to gain a solid footing on the road with Philly U taking a slim one point advantage to the lockeroom at halftime (32-31) after leading by as many as 14 (21-7) in the frame. Bloomfield shot 47.0% from the field in the first half and out-rebounded the Rams 16-15 with sophomore guard
Claude Blue (Brooklyn, NY) putting up 8 points in the stanza and senior center
Kevin Udo (West Orange, NJ) pulling down 5 rebounds.
In the second half the Rams took charge shooting the ball at a 54.0% clip from the field. Bloomfield was unable to mount a defense going 0-10 from 3-point range during the second stanza. Blue finished the game with 16 points and was the lone Deacon in double-figure scoring. Freshman center
