LAFAYETTE HILL, P.A. - The Bloomfield College women's soccer team suffered a 7-1 setback at the hands of the Griffins from Chestnut Hill in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play Saturday afternoon. The Bears ran into a Chestnut Hill team celebrating thier Senior Day in front of an enthusiastic home crowd and couldn't pull out a win, falling to 1-15 on the year and 1-10 in CAAC play.  The Griffins improve to 3-12 on the season with a 3-8 conference mark.

Chestnut Hill started the game with all ten of their seniors taking the field while the Bears dressed just ten players for the match and quickly fell behind in the 5th minute when Victoria Fioretti found the back of the net for 1-0 lead. Short-handed, Bloomfield would surrender five more goals in the opening period and head into the break trailing 6-0.

The Bears lone score came off the foot of senior Christina Vincentini (Lacey TWP, N.J.) in the second half when she blasted a shot just outside of the box into the top right corner of the goal. Chestnut Hill added one more goal to conclude the scoring for the match in the 89th minute. 

Bloomfield will return home to close out their season on Wednesday, October 29th. They will face the Eagles of Post University who soar into town for a 7:00 pm CACC tilt on the pitch.
