BLOOMFIELD, N.J. - The Bloomfield College Bears women's soccer team were shutout 3-0 in their home opener played at Foley Field by the Lions of Georgian Court University this afternoon in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action. With the loss the Bears fall to 0-3 overall on the season (0-2 CACC) while the Lions push their undefeated play to a 3-0 overall mark (2-0 CACC). Sophomore goalie

Freshman
Elizabeth Kroon quickly opened up the scoring for the Lions in the first half, finding the back of the net on a pass from
Morgan Peacock in the 4th minute of play. Kroon would tickle the twine once again on a breakaway goal pushed left of the keeper for a 2-0 advantage at halftime.
Georgian Court added a third goal in the 64th minute by Peacock assisted by Kroon to put the game out of reach and hand the Bears their first home loss of the young season. The Lions out-shot Bloomfield 19-6 for the match and held an 8-2 advantage in corner kicks.
