NEW HAVEN, Conn. (September 17, 2012) - The Bloomfield College volleyball team fell to 1-3 on the season Monday night, as they dropped a 3-0 (13-25, 17-25, 15-25) road decision to non-conference opponent Southern Connecticut State University.

Senior Daliana Perez (Jersey CIty, N.J.) and junior Dominic Spivey (Newark, N.J.) led the offensive attack for Bloomfield in the loss, totaling six kills apiece in the setback.  Senior Da'Cheray Thomas (Newark, N.J.) led the defensive effort with 10 digs on the night, while fellow senior Allison Hart (Pagosa Springs, Co.) led the team with 15 assists from the setter position.

Bloomfield returns to action Wednesday, September 19 when they welcome CACC North Division rival Caldwell College for a home conference match.  Start time for the contest is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
